It may seem like we talk about sleep a lot here at Yoli. We’ve talked about it terms of weight loss. We’ve talked about it in terms of your cardiovascular health and your immune system. We’ve talked about the ways it helps with your productivity, mental focus, and ability to cope with stress.
The reason we talk about it so much is simple: making sleep a priority is one of the best things you can do for your health. Here are some tips to make it happen!
Think about your environment.
Improving your sleep can be as simple as improving your environment. While you may be able to fall asleep in a distracting environment, the quality of your sleep won’t be as good as it could be! Sleeping in a dark, cool room that is free of anything that could disrupt yourself will help you get the high-quality sleep that you need every night.
Don’t drink caffeine in the evenings.
We all love Passion and Thermo Burn, but the caffeine in both products can affect your sleep if you use them in the late afternoon and evening. While caffeine affects everyone differently, most people do best when they stop drinking caffeinated beverages at least a few hours before they start winding down for the evening.
Turn off your devices.
If you’ve ever lost an hour or two staring at your phone, TV, or computer despite being exhausted, it probably won’t surprise you that electronic devices can make it more difficult to fall asleep. In addition to capturing your attention, they also stimulate your brain, keeping you awake when you should be winding down for the night. Try to turn off your devices at least thirty minutes before you go to bed so you can fall asleep more easily!
If you struggle to enjoy high-quality sleep on a regular basis, try Dream! Dream is a safe, non-habit-forming sleep aid designed to help you enhance the quality of your sleep. It uses a proprietary blend called Z-Rest to provide you with nutrients that support restful sleep, including valerian root extract. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a good night’s sleep that will leave you feeling refreshed and alert!*
